Now that State Pension Age has equalised at age 65 for men and women, the next phase of increases has begun.
If you were born on 6 December 1953, you might have expected to claim your State Pension at age 65 on 6 December 2018. But not so – the new State Pension date for anyone born between 6 December 1953 and 5 January 1954 is 6 March 2019.
For those born after 5 January 1954, State Pension date is deferred further. The full table of new State Pension dates for those born between 6 December 1953 and 5 April 1960 is replicated below. This table, more information and the tables covering the further increases in State Pension Age for those born after 5 April 1960 can be found at https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/310231/spa-timetable.pdf
