Our Response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

11 March 2020

Coronavirus update 1

Given the emerging situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we’d like to reassure our clients that Kerr Henderson is following the latest UK Government and WHO advice.

We currently have no concerns regarding our ability to continue to provide our services to our clients. To minimise any risk to staff and clients, we are taking the following precautions:

  • If you have a meeting arranged with a member of our team in the next few weeks, we will be in touch either to confirm arrangements or to reschedule.  In some scenarios, advisers and client managers may discuss with you whether meetings could take place via telephone or Skype.
  • Any Kerr Henderson staff returning from trips from areas of concern (according to the FCO website at that time) will be self-isolated for 14 days as per Government guidance
  • If staff believe they have been in contact with someone who has the virus, and/or if they are showing symptoms, they will be instructed to remain at home
  • We continue to follow and promote good hygiene practices (including regular, thorough hand washing and using the hand sanitiser provided in our offices).

Government advice is continuing to evolve on a day-by-day basis, and we will provide further updates to our clients if and when they will be directly affected by a change in events. Our priority remains the safety of our staff and clients, and we have systems in place to ensure continuity and to minimise any business disruption.

We will be keeping our website and social media updated but please contact your client manager or adviser if you have any questions in the meantime.
